GSC International RESON01 Resonance Sound Wave Demonstration Kit, Deluxe, for Physical Science.
A resonance apparatus is used in the demonstration of standing waves. It can be used to observe the resonance phenomena, the speed of sound in air, the resonance effects in longitudinal waves, and resonance points for a certain frequency and their relationship with the standing wavelength. Partially fill the resonance tube with water and then sound a tuning fork of known frequency at the tubes open end. The water level can be adjusted until the air in the tube resonates at the same frequency as the tuning fork.
The Resonance Demonstration Kit has a resonance tube, a reservoir for holding water, tubing which is attached to the resonance tube, a sturdy base with a graduated upright scale, which allows the reading of the water at the desired level, easy to see. An instruction guide is also included.
